Welcome to the District of Columbia’s Creative Affairs Office (CAO)! As a part of the Office of Cable, Television, Film, Music, and Entertainment, all of our work is done with a commitment to improve diversity, equity, and access for all within the creative community. The CAO team is here for you working on POLICY, legislative awareness, and regulation to support the work of creative businesses. CAO is establishing infrastructure PARTNERSHIPS to support the mental health of our creative community, and provide space for creatives to work and build community. CAO is also building PROGRAMS to improve the economic mobility of the District’s creative entrepreneurs.
